The real appeal is the color parallels. You're hunting for Blue, Purple, Red, and Gold versions of base cards, with Gold being the toughest pull from retail. Certified also includes Immortal Ink autographs, which are the big-ticket hits most people want. If you can find hobby boxes, the autograph density is noticeably better than retail, and you'll occasionally hit dual autographs.
