The real chase pieces are the parallel versions. Panini also included their Instant Impact insert set and Downtown inserts that broke up the monotony of base pulls. Autograph content is limited in standard boxes, so if you're hunting signatures you'll want to look at the higher-end options like Hoops Premium Stock. Hobby boxes feel more generous than retail in terms of parallel frequency, which is typical for this era of Panini basketball. The hobby boxes also carried better odds at the chase inserts. This product is best approached as a singles buyer if your main target is Luka or Trae base cards and lower-numbered parallels. Ripping is fun for the general vintage feel and completing the base set, but expect to pay heavy premiums for the key rookies after the fact. If you missed these guys at retail in 2018, buying singles is almost always cheaper than box ripping now.
